A question sometimes asked
If this is a form of ‘network
marketing’, is it legitimate or is it one of those so-called ‘pyramid’ schemes?
This is an important question as there are programs or schemes that masquerade
as legitimate ‘network
marketing’ programs yet turn out to be short-lived rip-offs in
which the only ones to benefit are those who set them up or are the first
involved. This is because such schemes use the monies received from those
who join later. They eventually fail as those who join later pay out
their money and then find they get little if anything in return.
With a GNLD business, it is true that you do build a ‘network’ of Distributors (or
people who join up to buy their product direct from the company). That is
quite normal business and there is nothing wrong with that at all. It is
totally legitimate and, like any normal distribution organisation, there
are different ‘levels’ within
the network organisation that results. But that should NOT be
confused with the so-called ‘pyramid’
schemes which are illegal.
What differentiates a true ‘network
marketing’ or direct-selling company such as GNLD from the illegal
‘pyramid’ schemes?
- Firstly there are real
products sold, the type of products that people would normally buy
on the open market.
- Although there may be a ‘start-up’ joining cost, there should be no mandatory large
up-front investment required in terms of buying huge inventories to
get started. Legitimate companies such as GNLD do NOT want you to
purchase more products than you can realistically either use yourself
or sell to others within a month or two. And as mentioned elsewhere,
you can build a substantial income with GNLD even if you do NOT sell
products to others, but get them to buy their own products direct
from the company themselves.
- The commissions or bonuses
you earn are based on the volume of products that are purchased
through your network organisation (the people you introduce). You do
not receive actual fees for signing up new people.
- It is not a ‘closed’ market where ONLY those who join up can purchase the products.
Anyone can buy GNLD products, as a customer, from a GNLD
Distributor. However unless they join, they cannot purchase direct
from the company at the wholesale rate.
